Best Family Guy Yet
For the die hard FG fans, both segments are hysterical. Being a big star wars fan, I can totally appreciate the amazing attention to detail in the episodes from the music all the way to explosions.
I only wish there was an edited version that I could show my kids. My kids love Star Wars and they have caught me watching FG and they have seen some of the shows accidentally and they love it too. I dont let them hear or see anything adult.
I really enjoyed the commentary feature while watching. I like to hear all the behind the scenes stuff. There is some good info to be had here (e.g. Mark Hamill did NOT like the line where Han Solo says his is the only career not completely destroyed by the movie)
Star wars Family Guy? Heck Yeah!
These videos are hilarious. It's great that Family Guy actually follows the Star Wars storyline too. Definitely a good set.
At a loss
I actually own all three Family Guy Star Wars parodies seperately and not this "two pack". Why this product even exists is beyond me because Seth knew he was going to make a RotJ version after Something... Darkside was finished. Anywho, I am a fan of both FG & SW so this trilogy was a no-brainer for me, and would recommend it anyone who is a fan of either, but just get all three and not this one. Despite it being mentioned in the shows I feel that FG did a much better job of doing their take on SW than Robot Chicken did, even though George Lucas actually played himself in RC. If I had to choose between the Blue Harvest and Something... I'm not sure I could as they are both excellent. Again, if you're a fan just get all three parodies.
